Sky is dark, sea in readiness

Sky is dark, sea in readiness
Starlight tuning the moon
Here I sit, somehow lonely
I've got to straighten out my mind
I think I'd like to see the sunrise shine

Ocean wide, ocean endless
White waves caressing the sand
Here I sit, feeling restless
I've got to see what I can find
I think I'd like to sunrise shine

Orange disc transformed to blazing sunlight
Seems to dominate the scene
But the sea in silence orchestrates the tune
See the seagull fly
Hear the sunshine rhyme
Yay, Yay, Yay-ay!

I hear the ocean say write good deeds in marble
Write your share of sins upon the sand
I hear the seagull say, 'If you are to prosper,
you must go and find out who you am.'
And now I know, I'm a sunrise man!
