Come and Give Me Love
Lyrics
Thirsting for Love
Hearing the call
Come on and give Me Love
In Silence I wait
Turning the key
All I want is your Love

First Middle 8:
I've only love to give
and all I want is Love
Find Me deep within
Come and Give Me Love

2) Wait for your time
Wait for the tide
Come on and give Me Love
The rhythm is mine
Feel it inside
All I want is your Love

2nd Middle 8:
When you long for Me
Know I long for you
While you wait for Me
Know I'm waiting, too

3) Give Me your good
Give Me your bad
Come on and Give Me Love
All you desire
All that you have
Burnt in the fire of Love

Repeat 2nd Middle 8
Short Song Description:
God is patiently waiting for us to get it right.

Long Song Description:
The Lord is just as anxious for union with those who seek Him as those that seek Him are anxious for union with Him. But all things must happen when conditions are right - read, when we finally get our little immature selves around to cleaning up the stinking garbage that we have lying around the landscape of our hearts! :-) We've got to do the work first
Story Behind the Song:
I came home on a Sunday night with my wife and family after an afternoon with my in-laws (wonderful people) and walked right over to my nondescript nylon guitar and practically played the whole melody the first time! (Isn't that nice when that happens?) I then took John Lennon's advice (not given to me personally) and wrote the words while the inspiration of that moment was still coursing through my veins, so to speak). I somehow had the idea that these lyrics would be about God speaking to us, instead of the other way around. I quickly gathered some quotes of Baba's and in short order the words were finished (very unusual for me).
